Yes, the way we do has it's effect: the more often we try to perform 100%, the more chances it becomes a second nature, a new character.

Interesting debate. I can see the logic about conserving energy - but I love this take. Dance like no one is looking until you collapse. Just gotta find the right music ;)

Agreed. It’s particularly relevant to those of us who hold back when we shouldn’t. That muscle is the one to practice, whereas if you are already comfortable putting your full self into your work, you can start to focus on the other aspects of the work.
