We call the Friday Edition of the Brainstorm Road substack “Joy Ride” because we like puns, but also because we believe in joy.

Some weeks it feels like an indefensible position, especially if the world is crumbling around us. How dare you. How dare you create while the world crumbles.

It’s hard to silence the voice in our heads that tells us our Dream Project isn’t worth working on, that it’s not important enough. That it doesn’t matter if we do it or not.

We get it. And we don’t have the answer. All we have is our own experience. And a belief that spending 10 minutes a day on our Dream Projects brings us back to what matters; it does not take away from what is important. It illuminates it.

Whatever your personal, professional, or political battle - please keep creating.
