Our days are full. We get up, prep food, maybe squeeze in some exercise, work, pick the kid up, make dinner appear, take the dog out, unload the dishwasher, send the text we’ve been meaning to get to all day after getting sidetracked once again by the amount of dust on the baseboards, put the kid to bed.
And we’re not just checking items off a to-do list. We care about the people and the work and the life in front of us. We are the kind of people who ensure that things are taken care of. We take care of things. That’s what we do.
Sometimes I wonder if what makes sticking with our Dream Projects hard is that they end up feeling like one more thing we need to take care of. When we come in for a crash landing on the couch at the end of the day, it’s tough to feel like there’s yet another thing that needs our time and attention.
What if it were possible for our Dream Projects to take care of us? That’s what we’d like to explore this month.
