I'm currently going down a rabbit hole around making film-grade slime. Like the stuff in Aliens or Ghostbusters. Sticky, stringy, non-toxic slime for a prop idea I want to make. The supplies arrive today!
Wait what distinguishes "film grade" slime from "ordinary" slime? The non-toxic stringy kind that is currently locked forever on my carpet thanks to an overeager and sneaky 3 year old...
Think the super stringy stuff in Aliens. Longer threads, more sticky, and closer to spit than a solid. Here's the actual film stuff I'm trying to replicate: https://www.monstermakers.com/movie-slime/
This is the truest description of what it’s like to be an artist (or “maker” or creator). You get sucked in and lose track of time and are obsessed, and yes--without even deciding to be or choosing!
