I have been lucky enough to visit Yosemite and I love the images you've shared. Nature is bigger than us, like many of these questions, and it always inspires. I continue to feed the trickle of my ongoing project - family history outreach to historians I want to interview (and may quote someday if I get one of these stories written) and I have gotten responses from two in the past week. So celebrating that I still know how to do this even though the reporting muscles are a bit creaky. A climb is made up of steps, so will continue to move forward and try to stop and appreciate the beauty en route!
Thank you for this.
Love this- just what I needed on this hiatus from the mountains~
Me too. A beautiful read.
I hadn’t realized that Muir took such an extensive break from writing. If it worked for him, it can work for us too!
